Training to Serve

Training for the Trekkers is almost over, with about a week and a half to go. It's been a great phase of getting to know people who want to grow in there faith, be stretched and serve. The teams we are training are going to Panama, Germany, Thailand, and Mexico. The main things I have been involved in are planning a huge team building race, finances, mentoring, and working in the kitchen helping with meals. The days have been long, but I know it's been energy well spent. I work with a team, Luke Haidle, and John Best are the two leaders of trek and then there are 3 interns, Greg Vegt, Amy McDaniel, and myself. These are very wonderful people, and I've really enjoyed working with them. So with a week and a half to go, I am feeling a bit tired, but am very excited about sending off the teams to there locations. Prayer for energy at this point would be greatly appreciated. In the next few months to come we will be doing some mobilizing, and planning for the next training session which starts in June. I'm also still working on raising funds. Over the year I need to raise 10 grand, or a thousand dollars a month. This goes towards helping me live out here in B.C., paying a few fees, food, gas, and other crucial supplies needed for living. If you would like to consider supporting me and haven't been sent a letter, send me an email at ballarina_babe16@hotmail.com.
